What is Rokugou Manzan?
The collective name of the temples in the Kunisaki Peninsula area of Oita Prefecture is called "Rokugo Manzan," and the culture of Shinto and Buddhism has been passed down to this day. Rokugo refers to the six villages opened between the mountain ridges centered on Mt. Futago, and Mt. Mt. refers to the temples built there. We have reached a major milestone in the 1300th anniversary of the opening of the mountain.
